Texas residents probably expect divorce cases to involve quite a bit of emotions and perhaps even ill-will directed between the soon-to-be ex-spouses. After all, these cases are the end of relationships that have, in many instances, lasted for many years and could also involve children from the relationship. Quite a bit of "hard feelings" is expected. But, can you still maintain a good relationship and like and respect the other person during and even after the divorce case?
Many people in Texas and throughout America probably have a vision of the court system as conservative and reluctant to change. However, in the realm of family law courts, change has come quite quickly in recent years, as many judges throughout the country begin to embrace a better understanding of how different family dynamics work. In essence, a plan or arrangement that works for one family may not work at all of another. In each case, the facts of the relationships involved are crucial.
